Fill-in-the-blank style NGN items with drag-and-drop word choices.
Cloze items have sentences with blanks. You drag word choices into each blank. Each blank is graded independently.
Example
'The nurse should prioritize [BLANK 1] because the patient is experiencing [BLANK 2].' Blank 1 options: fluid bolus, oxygen, glucose check, position change. Blank 2 options: hypoxia, hypotension, hypoglycemia, fluid overload.
Strategy
Identify the clinical priority before looking at choices. Pick the option that matches your clinical reasoning. Don't pick by elimination, that fails in NGN.
