Pacing tips for unfolding case studies, when to take more time, when to move on.
Case studies are long-form. Pacing matters more than for traditional items.
Budget
8-15 minutes per case (3-6 items). Roughly 1.5-2 minutes per item.
Re-reading
Read the case once carefully. Use highlight if available. Don't re-read entire case on each item, refer to your highlights.
If stuck
Make best guess. Partial credit means a guess beats blank. Move on.
If finishing fast
Don't rush further. Pace into the next item.
