What's legit
Hybrid programs (online didactic, in-person clinical) at accredited universities. RN-to-BSN online widely accepted. Direct-entry MSN online with clinical components.
What to verify
Accreditation: ACEN or CCNE. State board approval. Pass rate data. Clinical hour requirements (you still need them, no fully online RN).
Red flags
No clinical requirements (fake). Out-of-state programs without your state's BON approval. Aggressive recruitment with promises of fast completion.
